Tucked away in a small quiet street around the corner from the Colosseum and directly opposite the Monti district you will find our cozy and, as we call it, our cheerful, charismatic apartment in the heart of Rome. Very central yet a peaceful location with everything you need within reach.

Welcome to Casa Cuore di Roma!
The house that we like to call The Happy House because you can feel the positive energy when you enter apartment. The apartment is located in the heart of Rome just a few steps from the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Monti district lies at your feet. Casa Cuore di Roma is quiet and welcoming, and is the perfect place to create your own unforgettable Roman Holiday!
The apartment is in the heart of the Colosseum, Forum Romanum and Monti district
The inviting apartment in historical Rome is centrally located in a small, quiet cobble stoned alley. When you walk out of the alley and you turn left, you walk to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Piazza Venezia, in about 5 minutes walking distance. If you want to do some serious shopping and want to go to Via Cavour and Spanish Steps, you go also to the left, an approximately 15 minutes walk. For the hip and trendy Monti district you just cross the street and within two minutes you are there!
Our Colosseum|Monti apartment is located in a save historic, authentic building
The cheerful house, Casa Cuore di Roma, is on the second floor of an old, authentic palazzo. The neighborhood is safe and the house gives you a secure feeling. Both the ground floor and the third floor are occupied by Italian families. There is no elevator but only two small staircases will take you to the second floor. The staircase is neat and tidy, you might find a pair of child shoes, but hey, they are ROMAN child shoes! But no worries, all need and tidy!
The interior of Casa Cuore di Roma
The apartment was recently renovated although there was not much more to do than whitening of the walls and some small touch-ups. The apartment has original, authentic wooden beams ceilings through the entire space. The large room/bedroom is simply but elegantly furnished with genuine antique furniture. There is a double bed (normal size), an antique mirrored wardrobe closet. Airco and heating are both present,..and working!
Description of your home in Rome
The apartment consists of a separate fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen has a very large window, with opening glass doors, which overlooks the garden. A large living/bedroom with a big window that overlooks the little alley. The TV is hanging on the wall so it is wonderfully watching TV from the bed,….but why would you do that with Rome at your feet?!! There is a separate shower room and a separate room for toilet and of course as we are used to in Italy, a delightfully fresh bidet! The apartment is approximately 45m2.
Happy kitchen, happy meals!!!
The interior of the kitchen is cheerful and warm, there is a table with chairs where already many Italian meals are enjoyed. We lovingly picked the colors of the pots, pans and glasses and they tested extensively by us personally. Well, they made some good food and drinks! As in most Italian homes the kitchen is the heart of the home. So when you are here do as the Romans do and enjoy delicious Italian meals at the kitchen table. Of course there are lots of great restaurants where you can eat, but sometimes it’s fun to prepare your own meal and now you have all really tasty Italian ingredients at your fingertips.
Features in the casa!
At Casa Cuore di Roma you will find the following items: gas cooker, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, air conditioning, autonomous heating, drying rack, hairdryer, cutlery and all the essentials for the kitchen (See the pictures) Bed clothing and towels are provided as well. We have Wifi!
Ciao tutti, I’m Lisa from Italian Summers
I am so happy that I can offer you this apartment of my friends for your own Roman Holiday.
Casa cuore di Roma, I swept, scrubbed and painted
I personally stayed here in the apartment for a month and I had a great time … well yes, I scrubbed, swept, swept and swept again, painted walls, and bought stuff for the apartment. Well, okay,…my friends did something too,…probably I was overenthousiastic….With astonishment I watched how fast some things could be arranged here in Italy during the little makeover of the apartment, as you know the right people! Some of my Dutch friends would be very surprised!!!
Live between the locals
I met Maria and Paulo from the little shop on the corner where they really sell everything and Francesco from Calabria who sells the most delicious wines and delicacies in his litlle alimantari shop. And all of this within a two minutes walk.
Truly a hotspot!!! Come to unorganized Italy and be surprised!
